Who handles your information

Olamide Olatayo Bello Corporation operates Kakakin and administers platform account, security, marketplace and transaction records. Workspace organizations decide why and how they use their own contact and campaign data and are responsible for informing their recipients.

Information processed

We process sign-in email and display name, password hashes, workspace memberships and roles; contacts’ names, phone numbers, optional emails, segments and consent records; campaign content, templates, referrals, delivery results and opt-outs; marketplace listings, orders, payment references, fulfillment status and requests; audit events and server request metadata needed to operate and secure the service.

Card numbers and payment authentication details are entered on the payment provider’s hosted checkout. Kakakin records the transaction reference, amount, currency, buyer account and verified payment status rather than storing full card details. Super admin integration secrets are encrypted in the database. Session cookies authenticate your account; the current platform does not add advertising trackers.

Purposes and legal basis

Information is used to provide requested services, administer workspaces, process purchases, prevent abuse, maintain security, respond to requests and meet applicable obligations. Depending on applicable law and the processing involved, the basis may be contract performance, consent, legitimate operational interests or legal obligation. Workspace operators must establish a valid basis for contact processing and obtain messaging consent where required.

Sharing and transfers

Authorized workspace staff and platform administrators can access records according to their role. Selected messaging providers such as Meta and Twilio receive data needed to deliver messages. The enabled payment provider, Paystack or Stripe, receives checkout and verification information. Hosting providers process stored information. Providers may process data in other countries under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell contact lists.

Retention and security

Workspace records remain until removed by an authorized administrator or handled through a deletion request. Order, audit and security records may remain where needed for disputes, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Deployment backups may contain earlier records until their backup copies are retired. No automatic retention period or backup purge is configured by default; the operator must establish a documented schedule. Encryption, authentication and role checks reduce risk but do not eliminate it.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, deletion or information about processing, subject to applicable law and identity verification. Recipients can withdraw messaging consent using supported STOP replies or by contacting the sending organization. Use the operator request form for account and transaction requests. You may also contact the competent data protection authority where applicable. Deletion requests are reviewed by an administrator rather than automatically erasing financial and audit records.

Android client and children

The Android client loads the Kakakin HTTPS website. It requires internet access and does not request access to your phone contacts, SMS inbox, call logs or background messaging. Files are uploaded only after you select them. External payment and sharing links open another app or browser. Android WebView stores session data on your device; signing out removes the active session cookie. The service is intended for adults and authorized business users, not children.

Updates

Changes will be published here with a new effective date. Material changes should be reviewed before continuing to use the platform.

Contact and requests

Use the operator request form in the marketplace for privacy, copyright and refund requests. Sign-in is required to associate a request with your account. If you cannot sign in, contact the administrator who provisioned your account. A public business address and dedicated legal contact have not yet been supplied by the operator.
